Program Details
Join us at our campsite to help build two special wooden spaces: a 9-metre Douglas timber barn/shelter and a Finnish kota with a barbecue area. We are looking for practical, motivated volunteers who enjoy carpentry, wood construction and hands-on outdoor work. Experience is welcome, but a positive attitude and willingness to learn are just as important. Your help will create cosy places for our guests to enjoy.
Activities & Shift
Volunteers will help with hands-on outdoor building work, mainly carpentry, timber construction and preparing materials. Tasks may include measuring, sawing, assembling wooden structures, tidying the work area and supporting the building of the Douglas wood barn and Finnish kota. Shifts are usually practical and active, with clear daily tasks and plenty of teamwork.
Rules
Please be respectful, reliable and open-minded. We expect volunteers to arrive on time for agreed shifts, work safely, keep tools and shared spaces clean, and communicate clearly if something is unclear. Smoking is only allowed in designated areas. Alcohol or drugs are not allowed during work. We value teamwork, a positive attitude and respect for nature, guests and fellow volunteers.
