As an Event Promoter at MyCapsule Bali, you will be responsible for promoting our daily events, boat parties, pub crawls, and social activities while maximizing guest participation. This is a performance-based role where your primary responsibility is to generate sign-ups, create excitement, and ensure every event reaches its full potential. You are expected to actively approach guests, build genuine connections, explain our experiences, and confidently represent the MyCapsule Family.

Evaluation Period
All new Event Promoters will complete a 3-day evaluation period. During this time, we will assess your attitude, communication skills, initiative, professionalism, and ability to promote events and generate guest participation. If you do not meet the expected standards or are not the right fit for the role, MyCapsule Bali reserves the right to end the volunteer placement at any time during or after the evaluation period.
Responsibilities

•Generate event sign-ups and maximize attendance.
•Explain event packages, pricing, and inclusions.
•Build relationships with guests and answer questions.
•Assist with guest check-ins for events when required.
•Support event operations before and during activities.
•Represent the MyCapsule Family professionally at all times.
Shifts
•6 days per week.
•Approximately 6 hours per shift.
•Typical Shift: 3:00 PM – 9:00 PM (may vary depending on event schedules).
•Required to attend and assist during assigned events.
•A minimum of 15 paid guest sign-ups per event is required to qualify for commission.
•Be proactive *DO NOT* wait for guests to approach you.
•Always represent MyCapsule Bali professionally and respectfully.
•Be punctual and prepared for every shift.
•No excessive alcohol consumption before or during work.
•Illegal drugs are strictly prohibited.
•Respect all guests, staff, volunteers and hostel property.
•Keep your accommodation clean and follow hostel policies.
