Program Details

This volunteer program is designed for travelers who want to contribute to a living sanctuary focused on healing, nature, creativity, community, and personal growth.

Volunteers support the daily rhythm of The Secret Sanctuary through simple, grounded tasks such as gardening, light maintenance, cleaning, organizing spaces, helping with meals, creative projects, content creation, art, music, eco-learning, and welcoming guests when needed.

In exchange, volunteers receive accommodation, meals, access to the sanctuary environment, and the opportunity to learn about wellness, breathwork, yoga, ancestral wisdom, regenerative living, art, music, and community building.

We are looking for people who are respectful, responsible, open-minded, and willing to participate with a good attitude. This is not a party hostel. It is a peaceful place for healing, learning, sharing, and reconnecting with yourself, others, and nature.

We keep the program flexible and human. While we ask volunteers to respect the agreed hours and responsibilities, we are not overly strict or rigid. Our goal is to create a pleasant, balanced experience where volunteers feel useful, welcomed, and able to enjoy the sanctuary, the culture, and the natural environment.

Activities & Shift

The daily activities may change depending on the season, weather, current projects, and the needs of the sanctuary.

Typical activities may include:

- Gardening and helping with plants
- Light cleaning and organizing shared areas
- Helping prepare or serve meals
- Basic maintenance and simple repair tasks
- Supporting wellness, art, music, or community activities
- Helping with photos, videos, social media, or storytelling
- Learning and sharing skills related to eco-living, ancestral knowledge, creativity, and healing
- Assisting guests or visitors when needed

The expected contribution is 15 hours per week, usually around 5 hours per day for 3 days, with 4 days off.

We value presence, respect, and consistency more than speed. The schedule is flexible when communication is clear, and we prefer a relaxed, cooperative rhythm rather than a strict or stressful work environment.

Rules

We ask all volunteers to respect the sanctuary, the people, the land, and the peaceful atmosphere of the space.

Basic rules:

- Keep shared spaces clean after use
- Respect quiet hours and the healing environment
- This is not a party hostel, but we are human and we enjoy life. From time to time, we may go out dancing, share a drink, enjoy music, or join local cultural events together. We simply ask everyone to keep it respectful, balanced, and responsible.
- Be respectful toward guests, staff, locals, animals, and other volunteers
- Communicate clearly if you are sick, tired, late, or unable to help
- Use water, electricity, tools, and shared resources mindfully
- Take responsibility for your personal belongings
- Stay open, humble, and willing to learn

This is a place for people who want to grow, contribute, and be part of something meaningful. We welcome creativity, music, art, wisdom sharing, and authentic human connection.
