The area is a small local town, great to practice Spanish and explore parts of Peru others may miss. My volunteering in Caraz was an unforgettable experience. During my stay I was able to devote myself to birdwatching in a privileged environment, the house was beautiful, surrounded by the beauty of the Cordillera Negra and the Cordillera Blanca. Each day was an opportunity to discover new species, learn about the local ecosystem and share my passion for ornithology with Luis, who was an excellent host, always attentive to my needs and helping me to know more and more about the territory and of his country. I leave with a lot of knowledge and many desires to return to Peru 🇵🇪
