We're looking for people who love to clean and care for the spaces around them. We want our family-run hostel in the Georgian countryside to be a clean and welcoming space for our guests who come from all over the world - and that's where you come in!
No professional experience is required but enthusiasm and an eye for detail are essential!
We usually have around 10 volunteers who help with building, cleaning, gardening and cooking.
25 hours of help per week
Cleaning: Help clean the kitchen, bedrooms, bathrooms and common areas.
Housekeeping: Help with changing the bed linens and general housekeeping.
2 days off per week

We have volunteers to help with construction & repair, cooking, cleaning, gardening and childcare. Some team members will mostly focus on one role, others will do more of a mix, depending on their skillset and interests and the needs of the hostel at the time.
In return, volunteers get three delicious meals a day prepared by our chefs, a bed in our comfy dormitory and the chance to relax and explore the Georgian countryside as part of an international community of volunteers and guests!
Cleaning shifts start around 10am and finish mid-late afternoon with a break for lunch.
When guests check out we clean the rooms and change the linen. We also clean all the shared spaces every day, including the toilets, showers, kitchen, bar and terraces.
Although shifts are approximately 5 hours per day, volunteers need to be a bit flexible, since we can't leave the rooms half-finished! When there are lots of checkouts we put two or more people on cleaning so that no shift is too long.
We have processes in place for all our tasks so we will show you how everything works and be on hand to help with anything you're not sure about
