Program Details
Upon arrival, you'll sit down with our coordinator to understand our current platforms, audience, and what content has worked before. From there, you take the lead.
Week 1 — observe, explore, and learn. Follow the community, attend activities, take notes on what feels worth sharing. No pressure to post yet.
Week 2 onwards — you begin building a simple content calendar (weekly plan of what to post, when, and on which platform). You'll use free tools like Canva, Meta Business Suite, or whatever works best for you.
Daily rhythm: Check comments and messages in the morning (15–30 min), create or schedule 1–2 posts per day, and do a weekly review of what's performing well.
You'll work independently on execution but check in with the local team before posting anything that involves community members' faces, stories, or sensitive topics — consent and trust always come first.
You'll also train or guide a local staff member alongside you, so the knowledge stays when you leave. That handover is one of the most valuable things you can do.
