We like to have at least two volunteers at the same time. We cannot always work alongside, as there are many things to do. We take time to explain things and then you try it out! We are always available for questions and support. Days can be quite busy, but we make deliberate down times.
You might be asked to take over pool maintenance, such as taking out leaves, running the robot or mowing the lawn. Or you pick cherries, or walnuts, or wild fennel leaves. Or you help storing hay. Or weeding. If you have special skills, we might put you on a special project! Work times are mostly mornings, depending on weather and heat.
Be considerate / gentle towards other volunteers, hosts and guests. We run a vegetarian household, no meat on site. Clean up after yourself. Ask when you are in need of something!
