Program Details
1. Daily Activity Chalkboard - Keep our community engaged! Update the daily chalkboard with planned activities, events, or surf conditions. Feel free to get creative and make it fun and eye-catching.
2. The Connector - Introduce guests to one another and promote a social, inclusive hostel vibe. Plus WhatsApp group management.
3. Late Check-ins - Be the friendly face for late arrivals:
Receive guests arriving after reception hours.
Collect payment for the night before assigning rooms.
Make sure they’re settled comfortably for the night.
4. Event Support- We also host a weekly event on Wednesday that is a combination of multiple partner hostels, and we will sometimes need your support with organizing and helping out.
Activities & Shift
Hours are flexible, and most of what you’ll do blends naturally with daily life and activities for the hostel you’d likely do anyway. Its only hard requirement is that the late check-in will require you to be there, but that rarely happens since there is a late fee to check after 6 pm. But basically, if you are doing something for the day, just invite people on your adventure, and that will just go on the chalkboard as activities for the day. Example: wanna get ice cream later in the afternoon, on the activity board say ‘town ice cream tour at 9 pm’
Rules
11pm is lights out and quite hours so we wanna make sure we inform guest to be quite when they come back and are in the space. you are required to help clean and organize the space its like a home so helping out is KEY.
