In our free time, they took me to many beaches, mountains and towns around Abbruzo so I got to know the region very well! Where do I even begin! the home were the most amazing and caring hosts. It was both of our first times with Worldpackers and we enjoyed figuring out our daily routine together. They were very accommodating, kind, cooked amazing food, took me on excursions to incredible places within Abruzzo, taught me a bit of Italian, and were amazing company! We shared many stories, and had deep and meaningful conversations about many life topics, creating a bond I'll never forget :) The lifestyle is simple, slow, and you are immersed in the Italian countryside. I highly recommend and will miss them!
