Punto Patagónico is going through a beautiful phase of renewal and new beginnings, and we want to share it with volunteer travelers like you. This experience allows us to open doors to new perspectives, learning, and friendships from around the world 🌎✨
We come with extensive hospitality experience —we own two hostels in Neuquén Capital: Punto Patagónico del Alto and Punto Patagónico del Parque— and our dream is to keep bringing that family-friendly, relaxed, and authentic atmosphere to every guest who visits us.
We believe in genuine exchange: accommodation and breakfast in exchange for some shifts at reception and help with hostel tasks. We want it to be a nice and balanced experience, where everyone wins and learns something new every day.

Per week, a minimum of 4 to 5 hours of work per day is proposed.
The main tasks include:
- Gardening: mowing the lawn, watering, pruning trees, fertilizing, removing leaves, cleaning benches and seats. Collaborating on lighting, painting, removing old elements and proposing ideas.
- Maintenance: Help with painting of rooms, bathrooms, common areas, patching walls, electrical and sanitary installations (faucets, showers and toilets). It is not necessary to know how to do everything, but to know how to do some. Collaborate with installations of new installations, signs, etc.
Rule number 1 is respect for the rest of the staff, guests, and the established schedules. Remember that the hostel reserves the RIGHT OF ADMISSION also for volunteers.
