🤝 What I expect from you & What you can expect from me
WHAT I EXPECT FROM YOU
1. Physical readiness: The routine requires energy. You will work with soil, use manual tools and work outdoors under the Cerrado climate. We are looking for someone who really enjoys getting their hands dirty.
2. Initiative and proactivity: The day-to-day on the field is dynamic. We value those who observe the space, perform the tasks agreed with care, and have the drive to solve challenges.
3. Harmonious coexistence: You will share the communal space and will integrate into a family-like and educational environment. Mutual respect, empathy, good communication and collaboration in cleaning the common areas are essential.
4. Open mind to learn: We do not require prior experience in agroecology or bioconstruction, but a real desire to learn, listen and try new ways to cultivate and build.
5. Care and attention: Attention when handling the garden plants, care for the work tools and affection in contact with the community and children who participate in our experiences.
WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT FROM ME (As host):
1. Knowledge sharing: I will share my technical field experience, teaching in practice about soil management, correction and fertilization, plant nutrition and agroecological combinations, bioconstruction techniques and permaculture.
2. Welcoming and respect: Organized accommodation with the basic infrastructure necessary for your rest, in addition to full respect for the scheduled working hours and days off.
3. An environment of exchange: An open space for dialogue, where your story is valued and your ideas are welcome in building our pedagogical and ecological project. I want you to feel an active part of the development of CETTOL.
