I live in a two-storey house surrounded by greenery, at the foot of the 5 Terre park in Liguria (Italy). A few minutes from my house it is possible to reach magical places bathed by the sea (like the Cinque Terre), or reach the top of some hill to be able to walk and admire the view that literally takes your breath away!
I'm especially interested in the enrichment that getting to know a new person can bring. There are not many tasks to do in the house or in the garden and this will allow you to have a lot of free time.

I provide a private sofa bed in the living room of the house. Furthermore there is a shared kitchen and bathroom. The house also includes a large garden with table and chairs.

My house is very close to the train station, the ferry and several buses. From the city where I live, La Spezia, it is very easy to reach the following cities by public transport: Carrara, Genoa, Pisa, Lucca, Livorno, Parma. In your free time, there are plenty of opportunities to visit beaches, swim or walk forest trails. Furthermore, La Spezia also offers a nice nightlife.
I provide a double sofa bed in the house where I live for the exclusive use of the volunteer. Instead, the bathroom and kitchen are shared. In the warm months there is the possibility of using a large shower also in the garden. You will be sharing the floor only with me, as I am the only one who lives on that level.
The volunteer's bed is not in a private space, but since I sleep in a room separated by a door it is easily possible to agree and I can give the privacy you need.
In exchange, I am willing to offer food (*) and accommodation and I'd love to take you out to explore the wonderful places around here.
(*) Food: Like meals breakfast and dinner are guaranteed to the volunteer. I follow a vegetarian diet, so I don't keep any meat or fish at home. If you like them, there are still two supermarkets very close to my house where it is possible to buy everything. Here in Spezia, every morning, there is also a famous fresh fish market.
What I can cook for you? Pasta, cereals, fresh vegetables, cooked vegetables or eggs.
I don't smoke or drink. If you are a smoker, you can use the large garden.
