Program Details

We are currently undergoing some refurbishment work on our house. We're having various trades and experts working on the house including electricians, plasterers, painters & decorators, glaziers and blind fitters and would greatly welcome some top-up support, predominantly sanding, painting and garden clearance and possibly some cleaning .

Our helper would have their own room with either a twin or double bed and shared use of a shower room and plenty of storage.

You would also have a separate recreational space with a desk, TV and Playstation set up.

We would hope that our helper would join us for dinner every evening and would be welcome to help themselves to breakfast and lunch.

Activities & Shift

We apologise that we're proposing a hosted stay at such short notice and that the timing is so rigid, we only have a very narrow window of availability when we can welcome your help.

The itinerary we have would be as follows;
Arrive no earlier than Friday the 26th of June, dinner to welcome you.
Enjoy the weekend of the 27th and 28th of June to settle in and explore the town/Island
Help us out daily for 5 hours from Monday the 29th to Friday the 3rd of July from 8-1 or 9-2
Enjoy the weekend of the 4th and 5th of July to explore the town/Island
Help us out daily for 5 hours from Monday the 5th to Friday the 10th of July from 8-1 or 9-2
Enjoy Saturday the 11th for one last day off, feel free to head off on this day or you're welcome to leave at (no later than) 10am on the morning of Sunday the 12th.

Rules

We would be entrusting our helper with the safety and happiness of our children, the single most important thing for us. If at any stage we feel that their safety, wellbeing or happiness is being adversely affected by the presence of our helper then we would have to ask you to leave.

Please note that if you are not a UK, Irish or Commonwealth citizen with the right to abode in the UK, BNO passport holders with valid visa, settled status holders, and those with Tier 5 Youth Mobility Scheme (working holiday) visa then you will need to ensure you have the correct visa.
