Farmhand for horses in Germany/Deustchland, animal care, cooking
The experience
Hi there, we‘re looking for someone to help us take care of our five horses and our other farm animals.
Your main tasks will be feeding the horses and the other animals, keeping the padock clean and to close and open the stables.
We have five horses (three horses and two ponies), a few ducks, chickens and geese.
The daily work usally is done in two hours.
We provide all the food you‘ll need during your stay.

What you offer
25 hours of help per week
Pet Sitting:
Taking care of and looking after pets.
Cooking:
Choose the menu, pick ingredients and cook delicious dishes.
What you get
1 day off per week
Private Room:
You will have a bed in a private room. In other words, a room just for you.
Breakfast:
You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.
Lunch:
You are entitled to a free lunch, every day of your stay.
Dinner:
You are entitled to a free dinner, every day of your stay.
Free Laundry:
You can use our laundry room freely.
Bikes at your disposal:
You can use our bikes any time you want.
Pick Up:
We will pick you up when you arrive, and take you to our property.
Use our equipped kitchen:
Feel free to use our kitchen and make your own delicious food.
Basic Internet Access:
Basic speed internet for you to work remotely
Requirements
Intermediate English or Intermediate German
Between 18 and 40 years old
Welcomes solo volunteers, couples, and partners of volunteers

Program Details
You're going to live in a really charming and typicall village in Germany with the next city in 2 km distance. You can either stay at our main house or at a nice fixed up Camper in our garden.
We provide all the food for you during your stay but most of the time we only eat breakfast together so you would have to cook your own meals. But of course you‘re always welcome to join us if we have the chance to eat together. :)
Activities & Shift
Your tasks will be to take care of the horses, the chickens, the cats and the geese. The work amount is around 2-5 hours a day, depending on if you‘re taking the weekends of or not.
A typicall day would be:
At around 8am:
Opening the chicken stables, feeding them, opening the geese stable, feeding the cats, feeding the horses and check the water.
Whenever you want:
Cleaning the horse padock, its around 30 mins of work
Sometimes in the evening:
Closing all the stables, feeding the horses, feeding the cats and feeding the geese.
Another part of the job would be to help prepare meals and to cook a few meals.
