Our stay at Robinson's place was amazing. We were warmly welcomed and his parents were super sweet to us. The work we had to do wasn't much and consisted mostly of sweeping and planting plants to help him get his house nice so he can make it a homestay one day. The rest of the time Robinson, who was super nice and considerate, took us hiking, showed us amazing nature, explained the local culture and really let us see the culture by taking us to his family home where we cooked with his family and played with his son. The waterfall next to the house is great and his mother cooks three meals.

I loved the stay at Robinsons place. You are surrounded by incredible nature and Robinson showed us nice hikes and the beautiful landscapes. His mother cooked amazing food for us three times per day and also served tea, which was my favourite.
Robinson also took us with him to another village so we could connect with the local culture and learned more about the people, who are living there. All in all it was a great experience and I definitely will come back.

This is such a magical place! I did some volunteering and stayed there for a few days, it was a wonderful experience. The Nature is incredible, you can swim in the waterfall next to the house, go for some treks in the Mountains or just enjoy the beautiful View! I had a lot of freedom with the work and in the way to create my day. The host and the family are very friendly, I can only recommend it!

This was the first ever Worldpackers experience, and honestly, I could not have asked for a better introduction. Rubi is without a doubt one of the kindest, warmest and genuine people I've ever met, and from day one I felt completely at home. Rubi's mother cooks 3 delicious meals every day and offers tea whenever you like. The place itself is pure magic: you fall asleep and wake up to the constant sound of a waterfall, tea farms are all around you and the unforgettable view on Mammoth Mountain. It's a hikers dream! Rubi also takes you around including the beautiful Narangula Mountain.

I spent a beautiful week at Robinson’s home stay experiencing the unique nature and culture of the Narangala area. I had the truly special opportunity to be a part of local celebrations and was warmly welcomed, experiences I will never forget. However, I would recommend bringing extra cash for some of these experiences as the host does request additional payment, in addition to the 3,000/day base rate, and there is not much access to an ATM available, so plan ahead :)

Robinson’s home is absolutely beautiful, surrounded by nature and a waterfall you can swim in and beautiful hikes nearby. We instantly felt welcomed with warmth by Robinson and his family - his mother cooks amazing food and offers tea / coffee - you can tell is made with love! The work is very manageable and fun, Robinson communicates well and we are given a lot of freedom with our tasks and he always checks in to make sure we are happy which we appreciate :) Just to be aware that there is minimal service / connection, and the beds are quite uncomfortable. But overall would recommend:)

Robinson was a kind host who always made sure I felt comfortable and was enjoying my experience. His mother was also very sweet and welcoming, often providing coffee and delicious food throughout the day.
The work was manageable and fairly flexible, depending on what needed to be done around the homestay and the time of day you preferred to help out.
The surrounding area is beautiful and very peaceful, making it a great place to relax and connect with nature. There are lovely hikes nearby, and the waterfall on the property is a special highlight.
