Teresa and Pierre are really heart-warming people. From the beginning, they made us both feel comfortable and welcomed. Maria is a really lovely woman and we enjoyed being around her. We worked with Teresa in the garden, mostly planting trees. We learnt a lot from her, as she is really passionate about the work they are doing. Also, on some days, we worked alone after Teresa showed us what to do. Which was nice, as we felt like she trusts us to da good job. For our off days or the afternoons, they suggested some nice spots and hikes around the area. We would recommend this experience.

As my first Worldpackers experience, Teresa and Pierre set the bar high! The moment I arrived, they made me feel welcomed and at home. Their family is lovely, and I enjoyed chatting with Maria everyday. On the farm I spent my time learning about and restoring native bush. I learned so much while I was there, I wish I could've stayed longer to gain more knowledge on the New Zealand's native flora and fauna on top of general worldly knowledge they shared. On my free time they brought me to community events and even suggested gorgeous hikes. Thank you for having me and I would love to come back!

I have had the most amazing time during my stay on Pierre and Teresa's farm. They made me feel incredibly welcome and at home right from the start. They are both such lovely people and it was such a pleasure to stay with them and their family. I spent most of my working time helping to plant native trees on their land. It was really interesting to learn about the different species and their relationships in the bush. In my free time, they suggested good hikes in the local area and took me on some lovely dog walks. Thank you so much for having me! I can't recommend this experience enough!

It was an absolutely amazing experience. Teresa, Pierre, Maria and family are extremely warm people. The house is a paradise, you live between art and nature. The entire house is a piece of art. Teresa is an incredible host, she cares so much about making you feel at home. The place is surrounded by beaches, bays, beautiful parks. Teresa is an extremely talented artist and amazing chef. Maria is such an incredibly cultured and adorable person. It is important that the volunteer bring what is necessary before coming because there are no stores nearby that you can walk to.

It was a pleasure for me to be part of this beautiful family. From the first moment they made me feel at home. Teresa, Pierre, Maria and the children were wonderful. I worked with Teresa planting native trees, this made me feel very special and I am infinitely grateful, it was incredible to be part of this beautiful project. You have to talk to Maria, she has amazing life stories. If they ask me for advice, I will only tell them that if you are in NZ you must live this experience, it will stay in your heart for the rest of your life, just as it will stay in mine.

This experience exceeded all my expectations! Pierre and Teresa (and their entire family, including the furry friends) were so kind, flexible, and supportive. I absolutely loved being a part of the daily routine for the two weeks I spent on the farm: being immersed this way gave me a great sense of the cultural and natural realities of the place, the pace of New Zealand and served as an amazing introduction to the country. It also tickles me to know that I played a part in planting and taking care of native trees, and helping establish food gardens. What a one of a kind learning experience!

Since the very first moment, both Teresa and Pierre have been extremely kind and lovely with me. It has been an incredible experience in addition to the fact that the place where they live is just AMAZING. The whole family welcomed me and treated me as part of the family, and that's how I felt during the stay. I learned a lot about gardening and how to be more sustainable, as they living on a farm plus the fact that they taught me a lot about the country's history. No doubt one of the best experiences in my life. I do really recommend anyone to be part of that amazing family in the farm
