My experience at the inn was wonderful! The place is very welcoming, calm, and has a very pleasant energy. But one of the big highlights was, without a doubt, the host Thiago. Besides being super nice and cute, he is a great cook — the meals were delicious and made with a lot of care. It was very nice to share this period with him. I highly recommend the experience!

My experience was amazing; I connected deeply with nature and wonderful people. The work is super flexible and relaxed, allowing you to enjoy many activities in your free time. Barra de Guaratiba is beautiful, incredibly peaceful and offers incomparable tranquility. Thiago is extremely kind, understanding and flexible with the volunteers; he makes you feel at home. I highly recommend this experience.

The neighborhood is very quiet and interesting. Barra de Guaratiba is a destination that isn't talked about much, but I think it's well worth getting to know.

Rafael is an amazing guy, calm and very proactive in tasks. He helped us a lot, had a great rapport with everyone, and always cared about what’s best for the guesthouse.

I did a 15-day marketing volunteer internship, and overall it was a good experience. I was able to meet locals, their culture, enjoy the beaches, and I felt very safe the whole time.

Upon arriving, I expected to interact with other volunteers or travelers, but most of the time I was alone, so I didn't have many opportunities to meet new people.

The room had some details that could be improved, such as the bathroom door and the humidity. Still, breakfast was never missing, the food was good, and I am grateful for the stay. Overall, the experience was positive

My experience was good, the tasks are calm and easy. I believe that the female room could improve (the bathroom door doesn't close and the mattress is very uncomfortable). The communication with the host (Tiago) was good; whenever requested, he tried to support and resolve in the best possible way. One point to improve is the house water filter that runs through the plumbing and is located on the outside, which causes insecurity when drinking. The restaurant team that works on Saturdays and Sundays is OK, but the cook, besides failing in hygiene, would forget my meal (I am vegetarian); Tiago's food is amazing.

Jardim de marambaia is a place with a good location and a view.
I was given a very nice room with a private bathroom.
The atmosphere among the volunteers was good.
The place is old and nice..but it is somewhat neglected...I hope they can improve it!
Guaratiba offers beaches and hikes along beautiful trails.
People are simple and calm! Thanks for everything!

I did marketing and reception, I received 10/10 feedback from clients, I increased engagement and followers | volunteer 🇦🇷 all loved | 75% of the days there is no breakfast, lunch when prepared by Juan/Tiago was good, for Aprícío there was a disgust with hair and a piece of steel sponge | I was verbally assaulted and followed by a volunteer 🇧🇷, after I rejected him, and he was later expelled for another reason | Arnaud (owner 🇧🇪) has hate speech about Brazilian laws: labor laws and violence against women (guess why!), and on my last day he said "Brazilian woman either works in the kitchen or is a whore". Very disrespectful!
