Welcome to our culinary space in the heart of Gallipoli! Our project arises from a deep calling: to share the love for good cuisine, conviviality, and the art of author’s pizza. In our venue we offer a serene and welcoming atmosphere, where specialty flours and long fermentation meet to give our guests a unique experience.
This exchange program is designed for travelers who wish to immerse themselves in the sunny lifestyle of Puglia, discovering the secrets of our gastronomic tradition. We seek sunny and enterprising people who want to integrate into our daily routine, offering a valuable help in welcoming and in taking care of details. In return, you will become part of a united team, you will dine with us and live a stone's throw from the most beautiful beaches of Salento, creating authentic bonds with people from all over the world.
This opportunity is available for the entire summer season, from June to September. You will stay in an unbeatable position right in the center of Gallipoli, on the main street and only 3 minutes' walk from where our daily activities take place. To make your stay as comfortable as possible, every bedroom is equipped with air conditioning.
Our predominantly evening shift will give you a lot of free time during the day: in the free hours you can stroll through the city’s historic alleys, relax in the sun, dive into the wonderful crystal-clear sea 🌊 of the coast or explore the natural beauties and the villages of Puglia. It is the perfect balance between dynamic collaboration and a splendid summer vacation!
Activities: Our activities focus exclusively around the evening and night shifts, the moment when the pizzeria comes to life. The venue is open to the public from 18:00 to 23:59, but the exact timing of your daily contribution will be agreed based on the service needs. 🌙
This means that, depending on the evening, your shift might:
- Start before opening, to help us prepare the dining room, set the tables and organize the spaces before the arrival of the first customers.
- Extend beyond closing time (until late at night), to support the team in the essential operations of tidying, washing and deep sanitizing the kitchen and the dining room after the last guests have left. 🧼
Your contribution will include:
Table Service and Welcome: Carrying the various dishes from the menu and beverages to the tables, welcoming customers with a smile and making them feel at home within our convivial atmosphere.
Clearing and Cleaning: Keeping the spaces always tidy and sparkling, which includes washing the dishes and sanitizing the spaces at the end of the evening.
Rules: Since our environment is nocturnal and shifts vary according to customer flow, flexibility and willingness to collaborate both before opening and after closing are fundamental requirements.
Energy and resilience, especially during the evening peak hours, are the key ingredients to maintaining our serene atmosphere. 😊
We ask for the utmost care, hygiene and attention both in handling dishes and in respecting the spaces of the kitchen and the dining area, especially during the final cleaning at the end of the night. We also ask that you always keep the accommodation and the house neat and organized.
