Join our newly opened, bright and welcoming village bar in Hacinas, where you'll help serve drinks and food, welcome customers, and support the daily running of the bar. What you offer
28 hours of help per week
Kitchen Hand:
Help prepare, finish and serve meals.
Bartending:
Make and serve drinks and help maintain the beverages inventory.
What you get
2 days off per week
Private Room:
You will have a bed in a private room. In other words, a room just for you.
Free Laundry:
You can use our laundry room freely.
Free Tours:
We’ll take you on tours and rides around town. For free!
Free Hiking Tours:
We’ll take you on excursions and hikes around town. For free!
Bikes at your disposal:
You can use our bikes any time you want.
Use our equipped kitchen:
Feel free to use our kitchen and make your own delicious food.
Fast Internet Access:

Program Details
Join our newly opened village bar in the heart of Hacinas, a beautiful rural village in northern Spain. This experience combines hospitality with authentic village life. You'll become part of a welcoming local community while enjoying nature, hiking, slow living, and Spanish culture. In exchange for your help, we offer free accommodation and the opportunity to experience a unique lifestyle away from the city. With possibility of land to create your own garden.
Activities & Shift
Your main tasks will include serving customers, preparing drinks and simple food, helping in the kitchen, cleaning and organizing the bar, and creating a welcoming atmosphere for locals and visitors.
* Around 25-29 hours per week.
* Usually 5 working days per week.
* Two days off to relax or explore the area.
* Some evening and weekend shifts are expected, as these are our busiest times.
Rules
We ask all volunteers to help create a respectful and friendly environment.
Minimum stay: 1 month.
Previous experience in hospitality, bars, restaurants, or kitchens is required.
Basic Spanish is required, or a willingness to learn.
Be responsible, punctual, and proactive.
Respect shared spaces and the local community.
No excessive alcohol or drug use during working hours.
Good communication and teamwork are essential.
