Program Details

Program description

We are a family-run project located just steps from La Caleta Beach in Málaga. We aim to create an authentic experience where guests and volunteers feel part of a welcoming community. We value respect, collaboration, good energy, and personal, attentive service, offering a calm, clean, and organized environment. Volunteers participate in the hostel's day-to-day operations, developing skills in hospitality, teamwork, and customer service, while enjoying the Mediterranean lifestyle and the cultural exchange with people from all over the world. Our goal is for everyone to have an enriching experience, contribute to guests' well-being, and be part of the growth of this project with a strong commitment to sustainability and environmental care.

Activities & Shift

Activities and shifts

Volunteers contribute 30 hours per week, spread over 6 days with 1 day off, and we coordinate that shifts before and after the day off are as far apart as possible to give you the maximum amount of free time. For example, you take the first shift on Monday, have Tuesday off, and return for the last shift on Wednesday.

Shifts rotate between morning and afternoon so everyone gets to know how the hostel operates, between 8:00 and 23:59.

Activities include cleaning of rooms and common areas, preparing rooms, laundry, organizing spaces, reception support, guest assistance, help during check-in and check-out, preparing coffee for breakfast when needed, and small tasks to keep a clean, welcoming and well-organized environment.

We are looking for responsible, proactive people with a positive attitude and willingness to work as a team, always offering warm and friendly attention to our guests.
