My time the hotel was absolutely fantastic! The team were super welcoming and I had a great time getting know them as well as working with them. The hours if work are communicated effectively, and you have free time after the work shifts and on days off to explore the local area. They even have a bike you can use for local exploration. Olivia, the volunteer co-ordinator was super energetic and friendly and always available to answer any questions, offer tips or do what she could to make the experience for volunteers a good one! Would definitely recommend and miss everyone already! 🌻😊

My time at the hotel was absolutely amazing, I'm so grateful of the many people I've got to meet, especially Olivia who became a very close friend to me. You can enjoy the nature of Hokkaido, hangout with fellow travellers, go to the karaoke bar or ride the bikes. It is a very rural area but that comes with its perks!!! If nature and retreat from Japan's big cities interest you then this place is for you!

My time the hotel in Iwanai was beyond anything I could have imagined. The work was easy, flexible, and left plenty of free time to explore Hokkaido. I helped with housekeeping and photography for the hotel's website and social media. The whole team was amazing, especially Olivia, who went above and beyond to make sure volunteers enjoyed their stay. She let us use the bicycles, organized activities, and drove us to nearby places on our days off. the hotel also provides a weekly grocery budget, shopping trips, and a meal cooked by the chef each shift. I highly recommend it!

I loved working the hotel this winter! I came in March, but the snow was still pretty good, and the lifts were open on the weekend until the 15th. I think if you want to ski everyday and enjoy japanese powder, coming ealier is definetely better. Still, I very much enjoyed my time here, the work was very manageable and hours were respected. The team is amazing, and it's very fun meeting both full time employees and other volunteers! Overall, I loved it there and I look forward to coming back soon!! Thank you so much for having me!

Couldn't write a feedback on time, so would like to write my appreciation here.
Tayla is a very responsible person. Every morning she helped us out at breakfast serving with positive energy. She gets her work done very professionally.
Thanks for those cafe latte! Best one ever!

Thanks, Tayla, for being so flexible and responsible all the time and bringing in big smiles in the morning! Truly enjoyed having you with us.

I also met so many special people, volunteers and locals and the best roomies ever :)) If you are a ski/ snowboard geek, the snow will not disappoint (just until March though). First being able to ski in Japan during peak season was untouchable in terms of how amazing it felt on the pow, and most people I've worked with have been a treat to work with and also go out with. Definitely would recommend if you want to experience some of Hokkaido hidden powder for yourself

I volunteered the hotel, helping with IT and digital operations during a transition period. My work included organizing email and domain access, documenting systems, coordinating with vendors, and troubleshooting tech issues. The goal was to help the team run smoothly, reduce confusion, and leave clear documentation so operations could continue easily after my stay. The benefits of staying here are hard to beat: support for groceries, free ski lift passes, and incredible views of Iwanai. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a unique and rewarding experience.

I highly recommend this volunteer program. It was an experience that changed my life. Even though it was my first volunteer program, from the start I was welcomed with open arms and the whole team was very kind. Both Olivia and the people at the hotel made me feel at home, and they made my experience even more special.

Although some tasks could be a bit heavy and tiring, it was all totally worth it. The chef prepared delicious lunches for us, and they provided groceries for breakfasts and dinners. Olivia was always looking out for us and supported us at all times. Thank you ❤️
