Program Details

The activities will take place at an ecological site located in the Atlantic Forest, where we are constantly developing improvements to the infrastructure and to the communal spaces. The volunteer may participate in painting walls, wooden structures, fences, furniture and common areas, as well as assist with small day-to-day repairs and preventive maintenance of the facilities.

The work takes place in a quiet environment, surrounded by nature, and does not require professional experience. We are looking for responsible, organized people who are willing to collaborate with care and attention to detail. We also value initiative to help organize tools, materials and improvements to the space as needs arise.

During the stay, the volunteer will have the opportunity to experience the routine of Espaço Libellula, learn about our agroforestry garden, trails and a lifestyle more connected to nature. The idea is that the experience be an exchange: while helping in the care and development of the space, they also enjoy a welcoming and sustainable environment.

Activities & Shift

Daily activities include painting structures and common areas of the site, small repairs and preventive maintenance, organizing tools and materials, cleaning and basic care of shared spaces, as well as supporting improvements to the space according to the day's needs. The work takes place in a quiet environment, in the Atlantic Forest, with a balanced and collaborative routine.

Rules

We expect the volunteer to be responsible, respectful of the space, and willing to collaborate with the proposed activities. As we are in a preserved natural environment, it is important to keep the spaces organized, use the tools carefully, and follow safety guidelines during the work.

At Espaço Libellula we follow a vegetarian approach based on respect for animals and nature. For this reason, it is not allowed to bring, prepare or consume foods of animal origin inside the space. We ask all volunteers to respect this guideline during the entire stay.

We also value harmonious coexistence, with respect for other guests, the natural environment and shared areas. We hope the volunteer participates in the activities in a committed manner and communicates any difficulty or need so that we can maintain a good experience for everyone.

The idea is that the experience be a positive exchange, based on collaboration, mutual respect and care for Espaço Libellula.
