I 1000% recommend this place I arrived at the very end of the summer season, so there weren't the host tours every day, mainly due to the low number of bookings or the weather conditions. However, this absolutely didn't stop me from fully enjoying the little island of the host and the Lofoten Islands Michal really does everything he can to make sure you have the best stay possible. Every day, he would suggest going for a walk around the island, having a coffee together, or even sharing a meal. It was such a friendly and welcoming atmosphere The accommodation is also very nice and spacious

Volunteering with Michel was incredible! He is super laid back and lovely, due to the weather we didn't have too many tours but still managed to get out in the kayaks a few times per week, the work is really easy and fun, you get to go out with the guests and paddle in your free time too. On the bad weather days you can head over on the ferry to svolvaer for hiking, biking or sightseeing. The accommodation is really amazing and overall I had a wonderful time. I'd love to come back in the summer to hopefully see some whales!! Thanks for everything Michel and team ❤️❤️

Michal is an excellent host that made us feel at home from the very first day! We had a great time with him, and he shared a lot of information about the life at the host and the marine life in Lofoten. When it comes to the tasks, he was very flexible, gave us clear instructions, and even spent some time with us while doing the tasks!

Michal is a very pleasant person; we were able to spend a lot of time with him, learn about the culture, the experiences and have fun. He is a host we would totally recommend; he was always available to help us with any questions; regarding the work, he was very flexible with the schedules, he explained the duties to us very well and helped us with the tasks; it is a place that really is worth experiencing, you can visit many nearby places and enjoy the beautiful landscape that the island offers.
