Our place is a boutique property in San Marcos La Laguna, on the shores of Lake Atitlán. We run guest cabins, a vegan restaurant, daily rooftop yoga, and a month-long retreat program. We are a short walk from town, right beside the nature reserve, and just steps from the lake.
San Marcos is a small, conscious, spiritual village full of permaculture, yoga, cacao, artists, and travelers who came for a week and stayed for a year.
We have the offerings. What we do not have is enough visibility. We are looking for someone who can help fix that.
The help is simple to describe and hard to do: get us ranking higher in Google and AI search results, and get bloggers and websites to feature us. That is the main measure of success. If our rankings move, you have done the task.
What you need:
Real SEO experience: on-page, technical SEO, keywords, backlinks. Not just theory.
An understanding of how AI search surfaces and cites sources, and how to become one of them.
Strong English writing. Blog posts should be useful, clear, and worth reading.
The confidence to do outreach. You will be pitching bloggers and content creators to feature us.
Self-direction. Nobody here will manage you closely. Bring a plan and run it.
Nice to have: social media content creation and management, though it is not required.
