About the Program:
We are blessed with a beautiful 10-hectare estate featuring historic buildings, meadows, and a large forest. We are looking for enthusiastic, hands-on volunteers to help us maintain, restore, and further develop our grounds. If you love nature, physical outdoor work, and creative brainstorming, this is the perfect place for you!
What You Will Do
Our project is incredibly diverse, and no two days are exactly the same. Depending on the season and current priorities, tasks include:
The Vegetable Garden & Greenhouse: Helping to design, build, and expand our existing vegetable garden, including the design and construction of a small greenhouse.
Estate & Garden Maintenance: Tractor mowing, hedge pruning, and cutting firewood.
Restoration & Building: Restoring traditional dry-stone walls around the park, renovating an old barn so we can keep chickens, and landscaping the terrace around the swimming pool.
Fun Projects: Building a traditional French jeu de boules court!

🛠️ Construction & Restoration (Handyman)
Stone Wall Restoration: Cleaning, sorting, and rebuilding the traditional dry-stone walls running through the park.
Barn Renovation: Clearing out old materials, repairing wood or masonry, and prepping the space so it is ready and safe for chickens.
Pool Terrace: Assisting with ground preparation, landscaping, or finishing touches on the terrace surrounding the swimming pool.
🌱 Gardening, Outdoors & Forestry
Estate Maintenance: Operating the tractor to mow the lawns across the estate and pruning the hedges.
Firewood Prep: Assisting with cutting down trees, chipping branches, and splitting/stacking logs for the winter fireplaces.
Vegetable Garden & Greenhouse: Prepping soil, building raised beds to expand the vegetable garden, and helping construct the small greenhouse.
