Program Details

Welcome to our family farm in Bursa, Türkiye! We invite volunteers to experience authentic rural life while helping us during our seasonal olive and fig harvests.

Our olive harvest takes place from late October to early November and usually lasts 6–10 days. Depending on the season, volunteers may also help with fig harvesting, sorting and packing fruit, light farm maintenance, and other simple outdoor tasks. No previous farming experience is required—we'll teach you everything you need to know.

In exchange for around 5 hours of work per day, 5 days a week, we provide comfortable accommodation, two home-cooked meals each day, transportation to the city, and the opportunity to experience Turkish culture and countryside living. We value kindness, teamwork, and respect, and we welcome travelers who are eager to learn, work outdoors, and connect with nature.

Whether you're looking to gain hands-on farming experience, meet people from different cultures, or simply enjoy a peaceful escape surrounded by olive trees, we'd love to welcome you to our farm.

Activities & Shift

Volunteers will mainly help with harvesting olives and figs during the season. Tasks include picking fruit by hand, collecting and sorting the harvest, carrying crates, and assisting with other light farm work when needed, such as cleaning tools or maintaining the orchard.

The work is straightforward and no previous experience is required—we'll explain everything before you begin. You'll work around 5 hours per day, 5 days a week, with 2 days off to relax or explore the area. We aim to work during the cooler parts of the day whenever possible and always encourage a friendly, supportive team atmosphere.
