Program Details

Volunteers work with PCTE students across departments to build confidence and fluency in spoken and written English. This isn't a formal classroom setting — sessions are conversational, practical, and student-led where possible. You'll run group discussions, debate sessions, pronunciation workshops, and writing clinics, helping students develop the communication skills they need for careers in management, hospitality, journalism, and beyond.

Activities & Shift

Typical activities include facilitating small-group conversation circles, running pronunciation and accent sessions, leading debate or public speaking workshops, reviewing student writing and giving feedback, and occasionally co-facilitating with faculty in regular classes as a native-speaker guest. Weekends are completely free to explore Punjab and beyond.

Rules

Volunteers must be native or near-native English speakers with the ability to communicate clearly and patiently with non-native learners. Minimum stay of 2 weeks required.
