I´m a sculptor living & working in an old farmhouse in a quiet rural area 20 mins from the city by bus. Most importantly I want to paint & prepare another room for quests, white-wash (a lime based eco paint) the house, move firewood, cut back an ivy bush etc. I have an eco-friendy seasonal vegetable garden that I need help to extend. I speak fluent Spanish and English, as I´m Irish. We can visit the Pyrenees one day at w/e sharing fuel expenses
For this job, I need help installing a grey water system to irrigate plants and also collect rain water. reclaiming wild areas of the garden, maintaining the area around the workshop, the patio of the house, and the vegetable garden during planting season. Some light building jobs, weeding, moving firewood. Nothing too strenous, but very active and you need to be enthusiastic about it.
I´d like help usually in the morning for 4 hours a day in return for comfortable accommodation and good food . The rest of the day, you are free. You have your own room, comfortable bed and a shared bathroom. There are two bikes for your use, you can visit local villages. I will show you round the city and then can bring you to the bus stop to catch a bus to the city centre (25mins).
One day at the w/e we can do a trip close to the Pyrenees, sharing the fuel bill. Bring money for your own entertainment, travel expenses, special foods etc
