Program Details
The Sítio Bica da Pedra sits in a corner in the middle of the forest; being here involves days of intense contact with nature and experiencing a different rhythm. We have no Internet access, only mobile signal (Claro has been the best operator). Currently we are working away from the site most days, so it is highly advisable to have some experience with life on the farm.
Activities & Shift
The central work will be focused on the production of seedlings, planting, and management in the site's garden. The proposal is that the work takes place for about 6 hours per day, between morning and afternoon. At the moment the main demand is in the management tasks, bed preparation, seedling production, planting, and collecting dry leaves to cover the beds.
Rules
The organization of the living space and food preparation does not form part of the working hours.
