Had a lovely experience at the lodge del the lodge! Unfortunately, as it is currently closed for renovations my task was social media content. Nevertheless, Gonzalo's was very helpful, welcoming and supportive from the start. Everyone I met there was amazing and made me feel at home. Loved every second and can't wait to go back when it's fully up and running again!

I don't even know how to describe my experience at Carolina. From the moment I stepped in town I was taken care of like I'm a family member, like we've known each other for years. I felt what it was like living in a small town where everyone knows everyone, far away from big cities and surrounded by lush mountains. There are currently renovations at the place so there was not much work and I wish I saw the place in it's full potential, but still I had the most amazing experience working with the most incredible, generous and genuine kids I've ever met!! I will cherish my time there forever.

I stayed in carolina for 1 week. It is very remote and not many people speak spanish, so it's a great place to practice spanish and immerse in the culture. They have horses and you can go horseback riding almost everyday. During my stay, I learned so much about preparing coffee, Colombian food, and how Colombian people live.

Carolina del Príncipe is a magical place. The townspeople are open to sharing their culture and they truly make you feel at home, just like Gonzalo, who guided me through the cultural tour, answering all my questions and curiosities. I learned a lot!
I went to make a documentary, which required a lot of time and effort, and even though it went over the hours agreed, we were able to reach an agreement without any problem that benefited us both. Grateful for the experience and I will be back!

En el alojamiento tuve la oportunidad de aprender de los múltiples saberes de los trabajadores y huéspedes. Fueron todos muy atentos y atentas a mis necesidades y se mostraron entusiasmados en aceptar sugerencias e implementar ideas. Fue hermoso también advertir el impacto que tuvo un gesto artístico en la dinámica de una comunidad. Ramiro, fiel trabajador del espacio, fue el sujeto de uno de los cuadros que hice y en el pueblo se volvió el evento de la semana, por así decirlo. Recomiendo que visiten este lugar: allí encontrarán a personas abiertas a crecer y a conectar. 🧩

Fue una experiencia excelente, el lugar es muy acogedor. Gonzalo y Cristina son unas personas increíbles, tienen un equipo de trabajo muy chévere que te hace sentir como en casa. Carolina del príncipe es un municipio muy lindo y el alojamiento es un lugar que sin dudarlo te ayuda a conectar con la naturaleza y a desconectar.

La the lodge es un lugar bonito, la habitación es cómoda, la cocina tiene lo necesario para preparar alimentos, está cerca del pueblo caminando a 15 min, Carolina es un pueblo hermoso y tranquilo. La mayor parte de mi estadía no fueron las actividades que teníamos establecidas en la plataforma, y los horarios fueron muy extensos, desde 8:30-9:00 am hasta las 9:00 - 10:00 pm habia movimiento y no se contaba con el personal completo, hicimos de todo y en varias areas de la the lodge, ayudar nunca es problema pero nunca se establecio que ibamos hacer esas actividades, y fue cansado.

Mi experiencia en el alojamiento fue diversa, pude pintar y hacer arte, conocimos más gente que trabajaba en el sitio que fue muy agradable y linda, el anfitrión nos recibió muy cordial, pero en el paso de los días no fue totalmente lo acordado, no podíamos salir a conocer en nuestro tiempo libre, porque no había tiempo libre, siempre había más cosas que hacer y se nos consideraba como empleados. El anfitrión puede usar palabras no tan amables e igual con sus empleados de planta puede ser algo intenso. El lugar es un sitio tranquilo y lindo, el pueblo maravilloso
