Program Details

Our program is based at a community daycare in Tanzania, dedicated to supporting vulnerable and orphaned children by providing a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment. We focus on early childhood development through basic education, play, and emotional care to help children grow with confidence and happiness.

Volunteers are involved in daily daycare activities, working alongside local staff to support children’s learning and well-being. This includes helping with simple lessons (alphabet, numbers, songs), organizing games and creative activities, storytelling, and giving individual attention to the children. Volunteers may also assist with light daily tasks such as organizing the classroom and maintaining a clean, welcoming space.

The volunteering schedule is typically 4–5 hours per day, Monday to Friday, allowing plenty of free time to rest or explore the local community. No prior experience is required, but a positive attitude, patience, and a genuine love for children are essential.

This program offers a meaningful cultural exchange where volunteers can experience local life, build connections, and contribute to a positive impact in children’s lives. It is a rewarding opportunity to share skills, learn new perspectives, and be part of a supportive community.
