This was my first worldpackers experience and Marilena was an excellent host!! :) taking me to see other cities and cooking authentic food from around Italy! I really learned a lot about Italy from my experience. The work was straightforward, mostly painting and gardening and expectations were clear.
It is in a very remote location and you may be the only volunteer, the host can drive you to another city 30 min away to take the bus so just be aware of that. It is also close to nature which I loved but if you are scared of spiders or bugs it might not be for you.

The host Marilena she was very friendly but sometimes behave's rude, sometimes she tells me to eat non vegetarian dishes even though I am vegetarian and says I choose not to eat but I can eat it. The work is to unorganized and I wont complain because I understand that she is old and yes she even thought me some Italian and took me to tours which was good. Overall the experience was not so great but yeah it was good.
