Learn Craft Distilling in Georgia

We’re looking for volunteers who want to learn the art and science of craft distilling. If you’ve ever wanted to understand how spirits are made—from grain or fruit to the bottle—this is a unique opportunity to gain real, hands-on experience.

You’ll help produce a range of distilled spirits, including traditional Georgian chacha, fruit brandies, and corn whiskey. You’ll be involved in every stage of the process: preparing raw ingredients, mashing, fermentation, distillation, making spirit cuts, filtration, bottling, and maintaining equipment.

No previous experience is necessary. We’re looking for people who are curious, reliable, detail-oriented, and eager to learn. We’ll teach you the fundamentals of fermentation, distillation, spirit maturation, quality control, and safe distillery practices.

This is a working distillery, so cleanliness, organisation, and attention to detail are essential. Distillation doesn’t happen every day, so you’ll also spend time cleaning equipment, preparing future batches, organizing the distillery, and helping improve our production processes.

In return, you’ll gain practical experience that goes far beyond watching demonstrations. You’ll work alongside us throughout the production process, ask questions, and develop the confidence to understand how quality spirits are made on a small scale.

If you’re passionate about craft spirits and want to learn by doing, we’d love to hear from you.
