I am running a large farm (about 97 acres) near to Izmir. We have many different crops and 5 cats,14 dogs, 2 rescued horses, 1 donkey and many sheeps. We are very bussy with the land works.
If you want to be in nature, experience farm life but work indoors, this position is perfect for you.
We are looking for hardworking volunteers who can help us to keep clean our living spaces while we are working outside and will respect the rules on the farm.
25 hours of help per week
Cleaning: Help clean the kitchen, bedrooms, bathrooms and common areas.
Housekeeping: Help with changing the bed linens and general housekeeping.
Kitchen Hand: Help prepare, finish and serve meals.
2 days off per week
Private Room: You will have a bed in a private room. In other words, a room just for you.
Breakfast: You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.
Lunch: You are entitled to a free lunch, every day of your stay.
Dinner: You are entitled to a free dinner, every day of your stay.
Free Laundry: You can use our laundry room freely.
Pick Up: We will pick you up when you arrive, and take you to our property.

We have 2 buildings to live, one big kitchen, offices and a tiny house where the sheperd is living in. Since we are working in the field all day long, is hard to keep clean the inside living places. We need help to clean the floors, sometimes the windows, terraces..etc.
We will provide all necessary cleaning products (gloves, bleach, mops, glass cleaner, and sponges).

Cleaning should be done from the top to down. Dust and dirt fall downward, so start by cleaning and then vacuuming the floor and mopping it. Emptying some bins, being carefull for hygiene and organization...
Please respect to our privacy, use the maschines and the products carefully.

Tasks are like scrubbing the main kitchen, vacuuming hallways, or deep-cleaning shared bathrooms...etc.
The job is 5 hours per day, 5 days per week. The work schedule for this position will vary depending on which area is to be cleaned. For example, if we need a cleaning for the kitchen, it should be after the cooking time. Or if sheperd's room needed to be cleaned, it should be when he is availble...etc.
Even much of the help we need is indoors, still be sure to pack accordingly, at very least you will need a sun-hat, sun cream, vacuum bottle (at least 1 liter) and clothes that you don't mind getting dirty..

We are not medically trained to deal with any health issues or help anyone who is taking any form of medication, suffering from depression or similar, or addiction. Please do not think that your wellbeeing is someoneelses responsability. We work with animals and plants, that is, living things. We need the help of people who can work properly, are focused and responsible. If you are not physically active person or you are in the post-operative recovery process, this place is not for you.
We don't let you sleep outside at night. Our trees are not suitable for setting up a hammock. We expect you to have a good work ethic and follow instructions. If you are not going to contribute to the project, this place is not for you.
We do not take on smokers! Good manners, mindfulness and honesty are essential.
How to come to our place: We can pick you up from main bus station in Urla between the hours 8:00a.m. and 6:00p.m. If you are coming to the farm by yourself (also for the off days), please be at the farm before 09:00 p.m.
We eat meals together. We share our own food with our guests and do not make any special purchases. Volunteers can wash their clothes in washing maschine only ones a week.
Volunteers get their own private rooms and they have shared bathrooms.The person should also take care of his/her place and clean the room during stay/ before leaving.
When you arrive to the farm we will check your passport to ensure your planned stay with us doesn't exceed the time you're allowed to remain in the country.
