Help an older couple in a very beautiful location.

The experience

We live on Phillip Island Victoria Australia.
It has many attractions for visitors including Penguins , surfing, nature parks, wildlife parks and great general scenery.
We would expect dinner to be cooked for four nights a week with gardening and general housework done regularly as needed so that we can do our creative activities which are woodworking, painting and pottery all of which we would be willing to share with the volunteers.

Program Details

We love meeting people from all over the world and joined WWOOF for more than 10 years. Now that we don't have a big garden and I do pottery we are hoping with help we have more time to do our hobbies.

Activities & Shift

We usually do gardening in the morning with a coffee break at 11 a.m. David usually has a project involving woodwork and cycling. I do painting or pottery until lunchtime. We would hope that our visitors would cook the main meal, usually eating about 6.30 p.m. As we live opposite a little beach there are opportunities for swimming and fishing at high tide.

Rules

We don't want any smoking in or around the property. This includes no drugs or vaping. People are welcome to play the piano and we love card games and scrabble and watch mostly British t.v. programs in the evening. We are happy to share our hobbies.
