Program Details
Your stay will be based around our household in Unico, a mountain village community outside Beijing. You will become part of everyday family life and spend agreed hours with our young twin boys—mainly speaking English, reading, playing outdoors and doing simple creative activities. It is a cultural exchange and household-support role, separate from Kalha hotel work. We will agree a clear weekly rhythm and responsibilities together. Our founder is a native English speaker, so communication is straightforward.
Activities & Shift
Typical activities include English-language play, reading picture books, singing, simple art or crafts, outdoor play and walks, helping keep the children’s play spaces tidy, and occasionally joining family meals or local outings. You may also help plan simple games and activities that match their age and energy. Most time is daytime and planned in advance; you will have two full days off each week. Any childcare is only for our household.
Rules
Please be warm, patient, dependable and fully present with the children. We will agree schedules, boundaries and handovers in advance. Use no physical punishment, and discuss discipline or major decisions with us. Do not share photos or personal details online without permission, and tell us immediately about any concern or accident. Smoking is only permitted in designated outdoor areas. Please respect household routines and communicate openly.
