My stay in the home was a wonderful experience. I really enjoyed being welcomed into a family of three and sharing in their daily life — cooking, cleaning, spending time together, and even attempting to chop firewood! I also had the opportunity to volunteer at the local school, reading English to students. One highlight was meeting some local families and being invited into their homes. Everyone was welcoming and generous, and I loved getting a glimpse into their daily lives and culture.
