Sicily’s Garden of Eden: Wine & Farming Experience 🌋🍷
The experience
I've been living in Sicily, on Mount Etna, for the past five years with my family, making natural wine. We wanted an enriching environment for our children and for ourselves — a centuries-old, ethical, hedonistic craft connected to nature. We're looking for people with in-depth knowledge of natural wine and/or agriculture: people eager to learn, with a strong sense of listening and initiative.

Program Details
From January to April, we prune trees, rebuild walls, plant young vines and fruit trees. From April to June, we pick young herbs to prepare vermouth, tend to the vines, aerate the soil, bottle wines, or do racking. In July and August, we water the plants if there's a severe drought, organize the harvest, and handle indoor tasks because it's too hot outside. From late August to October, it's harvest time, intense and euphoric, when we get up early and go to bed late, with a lot of chaos in the middle. From October to December, we take care of macerations, fermentations, barrel and cask cleaning, and we do the other very important harvest, that of the olives. We're looking for people with an in-depth knowledge of natural wine and/or agriculture. People who are eager to learn, with a keen sense of listening and initiative.
