I am a professional illustrator and art teacher, and I run an after-school program, art classes, and English classes for children in Tochigi.

What you offer

15 hours of help per week

Teaching Languages: Teaching a language to the host, guests, or local communities.

Private Room: You will have a bed in a private room. In other words, a room just for you.

Dinner: You are entitled to a free dinner, every day of your stay.

Program Details

Welcome to our small educational home in Tochigi, Japan. We provide art and English programs for children and teenagers. We hope to create a warm, friendly environment where everyone can learn from each other through art, English, and cultural exchange.


Activities & Shift

Volunteers help about 3 hours a day, 5 days a week. Tasks may include joining children's art and English activities, simple English conversation, preparing art materials, helping with clean-up, sharing your culture and daily life from your home country, and some light household tasks such as simple kitchen help and keeping shared areas tidy.


Rules

Please be kind, respectful, and responsible. Please do not exchange private contact information with students or take photos of them without permission. Keep shared spaces clean, and please let us know if you need any help. Please understand that we are not fluent in English, so we may sometimes use a translation app to communicate. We hope you enjoy living together with our family and students.
