Program Details
**programm:**
Our Healthcare / Medical Support Volunteer Program enables committed individuals to support the delivery of essential health services to underserved communities. Volunteers work alongside professional medical staff in clinics, outreach settings, and community programs to improve access to care, strengthen health education, and enhance the overall patient experience.
The program is designed to be flexible yet structured, ensuring both meaningful impact and clear expectations for every volunteer.
**activities:**
These vary by setting (clinic, hospital, mobile outreach, refugee camp, community program) and whether the volunteer is clinical or non-clinical.
**rules:**
Volunteers must only perform tasks listed in their role description and within their qualifications/training.
Medical/clinical volunteers (doctors, nurses, paramedics, etc.) must hold valid licenses/certifications and work strictly within the scope of that license and under supervision where required.
Non-clinical volunteers must not attempt medical procedures, diagnoses, or advice beyond basic first aid (if trained).
Acting outside the approved scope can remove legal protections and create liability.
