Program Details
Our volunteer program is designed to actively involve community members, local youth, students, professionals, and international supporters in delivering direct, meaningful support to orphaned, abandoned, street, and vulnerable children in Kamuli District.
Recruitment & Orientation
Volunteers are recruited through community meetings, local schools, churches, social media, and partnerships. Every volunteer undergoes a short orientation covering the foundation's mission, child safeguarding policies, code of conduct, and the specific needs of the children we serve. Background checks and references are required for roles involving direct contact with children.
Activities & Shift
Volunteers support the daily care, development, and well-being of orphaned, abandoned, and vulnerable children. Activities are structured around the needs of the children and the foundation's programmes (nutrition, education, health outreach, and psychosocial support).
