Program Details

Our project takes place in a rural house in Bejís, in a natural mountain setting. The house has land with trees and vegetation that we want to care for, maintain and progressively restore since a serious fire occurred a few years ago.

We are looking for people who want to live for a while in the house and collaborate with us in caring for the trees, the garden and the surrounding natural environment.

Activities & Shift

The collaboration will be about 25 hours per week, arranged by mutual agreement according to the tasks and also the weather.

At the start of the stay we will explain the tasks and the priorities of the moment. We do not expect you to have professional knowledge of gardening or agriculture: we especially value responsibility, the willingness to learn and the care with which the tasks are carried out.

Rules

We expect volunteers to:

- Keep the spaces they use tidy.
- Take care of tools and materials.
- Respect the private spaces of the house.
- Maintain a respectful living environment.
- Communicate any damage or problem.

The idea is to work together to take care of a small rural setting and learn from it, respecting both the trees and the landscape and the house.
