We offer volunteers a cozy caravan under the shade of the trees, overlooking the forest and the green terraces.
there is an outdoor kitchen with all you need for cooking and a small fridge in the caravan.
We do not offer meals (hence you are asked for only 2 hours of work per day) so you are in charge of getting and preparing your own food. you are of course free to use the garden veggies and fruits and sometimes we will be happy to cook and eat together.
The caravan has a double bed and a table with benches that can be transformed into another bed.
We have an outside shower with hot water and a compost toilet.
For refreshment, we have 2 concrete water pools you can dip in the summer (or in the winter if you are into it) and a few rivers, water falls and natural pools just a few minutes drive from here.
public transportation is very little here, but lots of cars coming up and down from the village to the nearest towns and you can quite easily get a ride from locals or from us.
earest shop is in the next village 5 minutes drive away from the farm. The town with supermarkets, banks, cafes etc is less than 20 minutes away.
the city of Viseu is 45 minutes away from us.
Porto airport is 1.5 hours away by car.
Shifts are of 2 hours: Usually in the morning, but it is flexible.

We believe in open and honest communication. and practice it all the time. please try to be true and honest about how you feel here, your needs, what bothers you etc. everything is easy to solve when the communication is authentic.
Alcohol is tolerated in moderate manner. it is fine if you like to have your lunch with a glass of wine or have a beer in the evening. but if you go around all day with a beer in your hand, it is not the vibe we are looking for here.
Same with tobacco smoking. it is tolerated if you smoke next to the caravan, but if you go around all day with a cigarette, you will make others suffer from your habit and we wouldn't like that to happen.
No bone-fires during summer time. in Portugal it is illegal and very dangerous.
Showers and dish-washing are done only with ecological soaps. for the dished, we will provide the soap. for the showers, you need to bring your own. We don't use no chemical on the land. please respect that.
