Program Details
This is more than a traditional volunteering position. We are creating a small nomadic community that lives, travels, learns and contributes together.
We stay for a period of time in different projects and places, helping where we can while also building our own community culture along the way. Depending on where we are, activities may include practical tasks, cooking, gardening, helping with projects, creative endeavors, organizing spaces, supporting events or simply contributing your own skills and ideas.
Community life is an important part of the experience. We cook and eat together, share responsibilities, spend time in nature, play, sing, have meaningful conversations and create spaces for connection and personal growth. We may also explore meditation, spirituality, tantra, conscious relating, movement and other practices together.
We value freedom, but also commitment and self-responsibility. This means noticing what needs to be done, communicating openly, respecting boundaries and contributing without needing someone to constantly tell you what to do.
We are vegan/vegetarian, alcohol- and drug-free, and we want to create an environment with less scrolling and more real presence.
You do not need to arrive as a “perfect conscious person.” Curiosity, kindness, openness, emotional maturity and a genuine desire to participate matter much more.
Activities & Shift
Our days are flexible and change depending on the place and project we are staying in. We usually agree together on what needs attention and organize the day according to people’s energy, skills and interests.
Activities may include:
• Cooking and preparing shared vegan/vegetarian meals
• Cleaning and caring for our shared spaces
• Gardening, simple maintenance or practical hands-on projects
• Helping the project or community that is hosting us
• Creative tasks, photography, social media or organizing events
• Planning trips, activities and future community projects
• Sharing your own skills, knowledge or passions with the group
We normally contribute around 4–5 hours a day, 5 days a week, with plenty of space for rest, exploration and spontaneous adventures.
We also consider community life part of the experience—not part of your “work shift.” Meals together, circles, meditation, tantra, movement and other practices together happen organically depending on what the group feels inspired to create.
We practice shared leadership: we communicate, divide tasks together.
Some days may be structured. Others may turn into cooking together, fixing something, helping a neighboring project, going to the sea, creating something unexpected—or completely changing the plan because life had a better idea. 🌿
Rules
We want this to be a space of freedom, trust and real connection, so our few rules are mostly about protecting that atmosphere.
We ask everyone to:
• Live alcohol- and drug-free while staying with us
• Digital detox - be in the present moment
• Respect our vegan/vegetarian shared environment
• Take responsibility for your own needs, emotions, belongings and commitments
• Communicate openly when something feels uncomfortable instead of letting resentment build
• Learn with us consent, personal boundaries, privacy and different levels of intimacy
• Participate in shared responsibilities without waiting to be managed
• Treat the spaces, land, hosts and people we meet with care
• Be willing to have courageous, respectful conversations - be vulnerable and loved
• Bring kindness, curiosity, playfulness and a genuine desire to contribute
Tantra, spirituality and personal-growth practices are a fundamental part of our community life, participation is based on consent.
It is expected to engage in part of these practices, when they feel right for you.
We are looking for seekers, people who wish to explore and expand. Willing to be vulnerable, honest, responsible, caring and present with one another.
Our key word is to "serve life with kindness and love".
