I absolutely loved my experience with Nur and her beautiful family and appreciated every moment we spent together. Even though my stay was unfortunately short, Nur made me feel like I have always been a part of her family. They invited me to many local restuarants and surprised me by celebrating my birthday! They taught me lots of malay words and helped me become more familiar with the state of Sabah and the city of the home. Leaving made me so sad, but I am hoping to come back one day!
