My experience at the hostel was so wonderful that I even extended my stay! The work is fairly relaxed, I practiced English and was able to connect with the guests, the staff and with the other volunteer who was there. Angela is an amazing person, and she made me feel at home, in addition to being flexible if we needed to swap shifts someday. The hostel has a great setup and is super clean and organized. Preá revolves around kite surfing, so it's a great opportunity for anyone who also wants to learn or practice.

Really it wasn't for nothing the amount that I persisted to come to do volunteering at the the hostel/the hostel… because I already felt there was something there! And arriving there, and living these 3 weeks of volunteering only confirmed to me that I really had to go! the hostel is an incredible Hostel/Pousada, beautiful and super cozy. I felt very welcome, and as if I were at home. The tasks at the hostel are very laid-back, and the hours allow us to enjoy a lot of what’s around as well. Angela, the host, is a sweetheart of a person, a big-hearted mom, dedicated and always willing to help with whatever is needed. It was an immense pleasure

The Hostel is beautiful, organized, clean, the kitchen is impeccable, the rooms are comfortable, and Angela is very friendly, open to dialogue and concerned about our well-being. O Maktub was my first volunteer experience and I couldn't have started better! The hostel's facilities are excellent and the breakfast is delicious. The host, Angela, is an amazing person, she welcomed me super well. With her I met wonderful people and places. The service is very calm, easy to learn, and with a fair workload. It's important to know English; at the time I was here, it was the language of most guests. I also had the pleasure of meeting and working with Maria and Willian, who are fantastic, they helped me a lot and made me feel at ease. I hope to return and see everyone.

O hostel foi minha primeira experiência voluntariando e eu comecei com o pé direito, foi maravilhoso! Fui muito bem recebida pela Ângela, o hostel tem uma estrutura excelente, alojamento confortável e café da manhã delicioso. Os combinados foram respeitados e pude contribuir na recepção realizando check-ins e check-outs, como também auxiliando os hóspedes em suas demandas. Minha estadia passou voando. Esse voluntariado merece nota 10!

O voluntariado na pousada o hostel foi uma das melhores experiências que tive até o momento, sem dúvidas um lugar que tem meu carinho e admiração e muito se deve por conta da Ângela como anfitriã. O lugar é muito bem localizado, a poucos metros da praia, há mercados e restaurantes nas imediações e a pousada é muito bem organizada e estruturada. A Ângela é uma ótima anfitriã, aberta ao diálogo, flexível e todos os combinados foram cumpridos.

O hostel talvez seja o melhor Hostel que eu já fui, ele oferece uma infraestrutura incrível para os hóspedes, tudo com cheirinho de novo. Os quartos compartilhados tem aquele capricho, com cortinas, tomada e luz individual, além de pia dupla, banheiro e chuveiro. Angela e Anderson tem uma energia incrível, estão sempre articulando eventos e engajados em posicionar o Hostel como parte pulsante da vila do Preá. A experiência do voluntariado foi excelente.

Esse host merece 10 estrelas 💫 O ambiente é maravilhoso, o café da manhã muito bom, as horas e atividades são respeitadas, os anfitriões Ângela e Anderson são exemplo de empreendedorismo e família, socializam e dão muitas dicas do que visitar, além da Namaika que te explicará as atividades com muito carinho e dará todo suporte que precisar 💞 As acomodações são impecáveis, a localização é ótima (duas quadras da praia), enfim, um sonho de voluntariado. Eu fiz o horário das 10 as 14h, recepção muito tranquila, apenas check in e check out. Gratidão à equipe the hostel pelo carinho ❣️
