Wow! Had my best time here, and almost didn’t want to leave. It was such a great time meeting Budi, his mother and all the amazing kids. We got the best food everyday from Budi’s mother and also picked out fresh fruits from the trees! It was such a joy teaching all the kids English, they are really just happy to learn whatever you teach them:) I will miss Budi and the village very very much! Everything was just so different from the rest of the trip, and I feel like it gave me some really meaningful perspective about life:) Would definitely recommend this to anybody🙏🙏

I had an amazing stay! Budi is such a geniune and caring person, he always made sure I felt comfortable and his Mom Rahma cooked us delicious meals everyday! The kids were all so sweet and open and really motivated to learn english. I also learned much about the culture and Budi showed me so many amazing places around the island. I made so many beautiful memories here and met so many inspiring people, I can absolutely recommend!! Thank you so much Budi for everything :)

A hidden gem in the north of Lombok! Budi is a dedicated and generous host who ensured my time in the village was meaningful, memorable and fun! I got to teach English, eat homemade meals everyday, go on beautiful hikes, meet warm and friendly locals, and get a taste for life in northern Lombok. I had such a fun time. The kids you teach are super motivated and so nice! I was really the only tourist around, which was so cool to experience and you really immerse with the local life. Budi and his mom Rahma were the best! Definitely recommend :) The people are the best and the teaching is super fun and you learn a lot!

Staying with Budi was a beautiful experience, mainly I loved teaching the kids because they're really interested and happy that you're there and they can learn new things. Budi also organized activities almost every day so we always had something interesting and fun to do. Honorable mention to Rama (not sure if that's the right way to write her name) she's the best cook, even though I'm not a fan of spicy food I really enjoyed both eating it and preparing it with the other volunteers during her “cooking lessons”.

I really enjoyed my stay with Budi, it will be a lifelong memory for me! The food was amazing and it was fun trying all different kinds of local dishes.
The kids at school are so funny but also ready to learn, though they were also very interested in whether I liked Messi or Ronaldo more 🤣.
Budi is a genuine person and always wants to make you comfortable and feel at home. Immersing into the culture was a great experience here and so easy to do as all the locals want to talk and get to know you, we even roasted bananas with them!
I would 100% recommend staying here :)

Budi and his family welcomed me warmly and I felt at home from the very first moment. The work is easy and the activities are quite diverse and fun :) The food is amazing and I even got to take cooking classes!

It was my first time volunteering, and it was honestly so much more than I could've ever imagined it to be. Meeting these extraordinary people will show you a different view of life and you really see how humble, kind and caring they all are. Budi's mother, Ramah, is the best cook. You'll try so many yummy new dishes. Budi welcomes you warmly from the start, and makes sure you're comfortable from the start. After 2 weeks, I felt at home. The neighbourhood kids are so sweet and might be at the school you teach at. They're so eager to learn! You'll see so much beauty in the nature. Defo go!!!
