I spent 9 days with Budi and his family, and I feel so lucky to have had this experience. I helped with the permaculture project and at the local school, and I truly felt part of the community. I got to experience their culture and celebrations, enjoy beautiful sunsets on the beach, and discover the amazing mountains and waterfalls of Lombok. A big thank you to the whole family for making me feel so welcome, and to Rahma for her delicious food! I truly recommend this project if you want to discover the real beauty of Lombok and its people.

I had an incredibly wonderful time at Budi and Rahma's home. I felt welcome right away, had my own private room, and the food was prepared with love every day. Budi was always there for us and took us to the most beautiful spots and activities, including school, teaching the children at Budi's home, playing Uno with the neighborhood kids, and the day trips to beautiful places and waterfalls. So much love to Budi and his family and all the loving people in Belating <3

Just go! I still don't have enough words to describe the experience in the organization. I will always cheer from the deep of my heart for Budi and Rahma, his mom. Since the beggining Budi was extremely kind and gentle about how could I arrive in the property, always bringing suggestions about what could we do in the region. We have deep conversations about the organization tourism and I could properly see with my eyes and live with my body a tradicional village of Indonesia, this part that you dont find easily and barely listen about. It was a school for live, no doubts. Obrigada, Terima kasih. <333

My gf and I had a special 10 days in the organization. The village treated us openly and kindly, esp the kids. Budi, the host, always had activities planned that only a local could show you, including sunset spots, waterfalls, islands, etc. Budi's mom cooks 3 yummy local meals a day (mostly fried/vegan food, but not always). The living space is a comfy bed in a private room with a fan and a shared toilet room with both a sitting & a squatting toilet, and a bucket shower with cold, fresh mnt water. The students are eager to learn and engage with the volunteers and they left a special mark on us <3

Budi and his family are incredible hosts. Throughout our 9 night stay we went to school to teach on the weekdays and explored the surrounding area in the afternoon. Every meal is cooked with love by his mother, Ina. The location is a very local area with lots of things to see and do. We went to waterfalls, the beach for sunset, island hopping, the farm, rice fields etc. The teaching especially is a very special experience since Budi is an English teacher he makes it easy. I would recommend this to anyone seeking a true local experience and to be welcomed by everyone.

Budy is such a nice, he's very dedicated to what he's doing. From teaching kids, and showing us the REAL the organization. I will never forget how he and his family welcomed us, and made me and my boyfriend learned new things. The best highlights was teaching kids, it was memorable and meaningful! Plus complimenting Ina's food! So yummy. Highly recommended.

This was my first volunteering experience ever and it will be an extremely difficult one to top! Arriving at Budi's place me and my gf immediately felt extremely welcomed. Over the next week we would explore the organization together, cook meals, visit local traditions and help in the permaculture garden. Because of Budi and his lovely family we felt fully immersed in the local life and got to experience an unforgettable travel experience! We tried our best to give back but this only amounts to 10% of what Budi has given us. I 1000% recommend volunteering with Budi if you want an amazing experience!

What a week we had in the organization! This was our first Worldpackers experience and it couldn't have been more memorable. Budi and his family treated us like family, took care of us so well. We did permaculture volunteering which is a project aimed at supporting the organization agriculture development in the organization, to give back to the nature and take from it in an ethical way. We had light working hours, which gave us a lot of time to explore the organization and beyond with Budi. He is a great guide next to being a great host, works very hard to take care of everything and make sure we are well off.❤️

Thank you so much for the amazing memories. From the moment I arrived I felt right at home. Budis family was lovely and kind and so was the community. I will miss mama Ramah's cooking and the energetic kids. I learnt a lot during my stay that I will always carry with me. Budi, you're doing great things for the community and I wish you all the absolute best.

Wow! Had my best time here, and almost didn’t want to leave. It was such a great time meeting Budi, his mother and all the amazing kids. We got the best food everyday from Budi’s mother and also picked out fresh fruits from the trees! It was such a joy teaching all the kids English, they are really just happy to learn whatever you teach them:) I will miss Budi and the village very very much! Everything was just so different from the rest of the trip, and I feel like it gave me some really meaningful perspective about life:) Would definitely recommend this to anybody🙏🙏
