Activities & Shift
Volunteers will help for up to 5 hours per day, 5 days per week, with 2 days off. Activities may include assisting teachers with English and Biology, mentoring students, sports, arts, agriculture, and community activities. The daily schedule will depend on the school timetable and the volunteer’s skills and interests. Volunteers will always work alongside our staff and will not be left responsible for a class alone.
Rules
Respect our students, teachers, staff, host family, and local community. Follow the school’s schedule and guidelines, dress appropriately for a school environment, keep shared spaces clean, and be punctual and responsible. No smoking, illegal drugs, or inappropriate behavior. Respect Ugandan culture and Christian values. Volunteers should communicate openly with staff and ask permission before making changes to activities or inviting visitors.
