Program Details

Our volunteer program connects volunteers with children and young people through sports, education, music, and creative arts. Volunteers are introduced to the team and community, then matched with activities based on their interests and skills. They may assist with football training, educational support, music, painting, games, and youth activities.

The schedule is flexible and agreed upon with the volunteer. Local staff provide guidance and support throughout the placement. Volunteers also have free time to explore Kampala, work remotely, and experience Ugandan culture. The program promotes cultural exchange, teamwork, learning, and positive community impact.

Activities & Shift

Volunteers work 4 days per week, with approximately 4 hours of volunteering each day. The remaining time is free for rest, personal activities, exploring Kampala, cultural experiences, or remote work.

Depending on their interests and skills, volunteers may support football training, educational activities, music sessions, creative arts and painting, games, and youth development activities. Volunteers work alongside our local team and receive guidance throughout their placement.

The daily schedule is flexible and may vary depending on the program activities. Volunteers are encouraged to actively participate, share their skills and ideas, and interact positively with the children and young people. The aim is to create a balanced experience where volunteers can make a meaningful contribution while also having enough time to relax and enjoy their stay in Uganda.
